Reaching the summit of Mt. Rinjani for sunrise

“After waking up at 2:50 in the morning to start their hike, McCahey and Laura reached the summit of Mt. Rinjani at around 6 a.m., just in time to watch the sunrise. The panorama on top of Mt. Rinjani was fantastic, allowing for views of Lombok and its neighboring islands of Bali and Sumbawa. This picture also shows the crater lake and the smaller Mount Baru Jari smoking in the background.”
